    So good!

Definitely a neighborhood favourite, judging from the lines (so come early!). With good reason too, it's probably my favourite Korean restaurant in town.

It's a long narrow restaurant so it's not very large or spacious and every time I've come it's packed. I've come for lunch and had their $10/11 bulgogi lunch special~ I had the chicken which was spicier than the beef for some reason. It's a good deal for meat, rice, and classic side dishes (such good potatoes! With sweet potatoes too).

Off of their regular menu I had the topokki which is more than the stir fried rice cake I was expecting. There was a large portion of ramen noodles, tiny cocktail weiners, and sheets of fishcake. It was so delicious and enough for two (which is great because I thought it was pricey at $18.95).

In addition to delicious food, the service was also really good. They were friendly and speedy and very on top of water or tea refills. I also appreciated them warning us that medium would be very spicy. I wasn't sure what to think when she suggested I get mild spicy (I like spicy food!) but she was right, mild was spicy enough for me to taste the heat as well as all the other flavours in the dish. Any spicier and I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the other parts of the dish.

I really love the efficiency of the service. This place gets busy but I really love how the servers hand you a menu while you are waiting and will take your order right before your table is ready for you. This means the food will come faster. The water actually comes with a cute paper straw and a lemon. As this restaurant gets hot, always get the water instead of tea. We ordered Mool Naeung Myun (Cold Noodles), Tang Soo Yook (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork), Bulgogi Tuk Baegi (beef stew). The side dishes are really good!

Mool Naeung Myun (Cold Noodles) were very refreshing and authentic. The beef could be marinated more.

Tang Soo Yook (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork) came with lots of meat and sweet and sour fruits. It is very different from Chinese sweet and sour pork but you should try this if you like sweet and sour pork.

Bulgogi Tuk Baegi (beef stew) came with rice cakes, mushrooms, and beef. The broth was very clear and delicious.

I think this is the best Korean restaurant in Vancouver. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm just mad that they don't have enough tables for their dinner rush. Also wish they were open later.

I've had their bibimbap which is a staple. It's about $12 and is enough for one person. It's a decently priced lunch.

Their japchae is heavenly!!! It's around $18 but it's enough for two people to share. You can swap out the meat for tofu, which is great.

Their tofu (soy ?) stew is also really good for cold nights.

Very comfortable, clean space with great service and tasty food. Another mom and I came for lunch with our babies and we were able to park our strollers by the door and they had highchairs.

I ordered the Bulgogi Beef lunch special that came with rice and miso soup. The dish had rice cake and shredded veggies with the beef, probably used to make the dish fill you up more since there's not that much beef. I didn't mind and the taste was yummy for ~$10. The complimentary side dishes were delish too.

My friend got the spicy tofu hot pot and she enjoyed it a lot too. We were already talking about bringing our hubbies here since we were impressed by the food and especially the very nice servers that played with our babies, checked in often to make sure our tea and side dishes are refilled, and always with a smile.

Walk-in for a casual dinner on a Friday nigh and boy was it packed. They quoted us around a 45 minute wait and I must say we probably waited around 45 mins. They said there were 15 groups ahead of our party of 2. They do take reservations though, so I would definitely suggest making one if you can. There isn't much of a waiting area and they do not take down phone numbers, but luckily it was nice out that evening and we could hang around outside the store until there was room on the bench for us. Probably not a great system when it starts getting colder though... I appreciate that they try to speed things up by asking you to order in the waiting area as soon as they have identified a table for you. It was nice to get our food within 5 mins of sitting down.

As for the food, I would say it was a pretty solid meal. I tried the chicken bulgogi, the spicy bone broth with glass noodles, and the seafood pancake. Seafood pancake is my favourite dish, and this one was definitely better than most that I have tried. Just super crispy and generous amounts of seafood, though it is on the pricier end of seafood pancakes. The chicken and soup were all really good as well - nice flavours, right amount of spiciness, and didn't cheap out on portions. They also had a good selection of side dishes, which were all very tasty - kimchi, potato, bean sprouts, and fish cake.

At the end of our meal, they also brought out orange slices and thanked us for waiting earlier, which was a nice touch. They did hint they were looking to have us out of there though as they were quite quick to bring the bill as soon as they saw we were done. I guess understandable, given they had at least another dozen parties waiting and it was already 8:30 pm.

Overall, efficient and courteous customer service and delicious food. Would definitely go back again.
